The 1997, 1999 and 2000 National Physical Activity Surveys collected information about physical activity patterns in Australian adults. Activity levels were measured against the National Physical Activity Guidelines. The survey also measured awareness of physical activity campaigns and media messages that were current at the time of each survey.
The 1997 survey was called the Active Australia National Physical Activity Survey.
