The Youth Homelessness Pilot Programme Collection contains data collected via Client Summary Sheets submitted to the AIHW by agencies participating in the Youth Homelessness Pilot Programme. The data collected was used in the evaluation of the pilot programme by describing:
- the client profile across the pilot projects
- the types of services provided to both the young person and the parent/guardian; and
- measured improvements in homeless and at risk young people’s connection with education, training, work, family and the community.
This project was designed to permit comparison of Youth Homelessness Pilot Programme and Supported Accommodation Assistance Program clients. This project employed the same protocols applied to the SAAP National Data Collection (SAAP NDC).
