Australian health and welfare metadata experts have been treated to some major excitement as the AIHW’s refreshed METEOR platform was revealed to these experts on Wednesday 4th of May.
After much hard work, the AIHW has completed the first phase of re-development on our METEOR platform. The new METEOR platform redevelopment provides significant usability improvements whilst maintaining the well-deserved reputation as the gold standard of metadata infrastructure.
The aim of this first phase has been focused on both securing the underlying database & delivering a like-for-like system built on cloud-based technology that includes an improved user interface and increased stability.
The AIHW will continue to invest in the METEOR platform to fine-tune functionality and usability enhancements. The platform updates will continue to provide metadata experts in the health and welfare space an up-to-date environment to meet Australia’s metadata needs, as well as the opportunity to establish long-term partnerships committed to meeting those needs.
