The AIHW Act established the AIHW and describes its composition, functions, powers and obligations.
The latest compilation current at 21 October 2016 registered on 28 October 2016 and incorporates amendments to the AIHW Act up to Act No. 61, 2016. It can be found at Australian Institute of Health and Welfare Act 1987. - Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (Contracts) Regulation 2016
The regulation requires the AIHW to seek Ministerial approval to enter into contracts involving the expenditure or receipt of amounts exceeding $3 million.
